The Tourism and Hotel Management Program hosted a New Student Orientation and Graduates' Overseas Study Experience Sharing Event.

The Tourism and Social Administration College's Tourism and Hotel Management Program successfully organized a New Student Orientation and Graduates' Overseas Study Experience Sharing Event on October 10, 2023. This event provided a rare opportunity for the incoming class of 2023, aiming to assist them in planning their academic careers and gaining valuable insights into studying abroad.

The event took place at 13:30 in Room E104 at the Xingzhi Building, while also offering students the opportunity to participate online. The event's agenda included an introduction to the university's main international cooperation resources by a representative from the International Exchange Office. Furthermore, several recent graduates shared their experiences of studying abroad in countries such as South Korea, Australia, and Switzerland, along with an overview of their respective universities.

Student Sun Huan shared the admission criteria and detailed process of his studies in South Korea, while students Zhang Jingrui and Jiang Leyi shared their academic journeys to the University of Queensland and the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, respectively. Current Macau University of Science and Technology doctoral student Yin Yue provided valuable information to the attending students, introducing the resources for pursuing a postgraduate degree in Macau, admission requirements, and her own academic experiences. Finally, distinguished alumna and faculty member Dr. Zheng Rumin shared her post-graduation growth experience, serving as a role model for the new students.

This event provided an opportunity for new students in the Tourism and Hotel Management to gain insights into the university and their chosen field of study, while also allowing graduates to share their diverse experiences of studying abroad. These experiences will not only have a positive impact on the new students' future academic planning but also assist them in better preparing for the challenges of pursuing postgraduate studies. The Tourism and Hotel Management at Nanjing Xiaozhuang University will continue its efforts to support students and provide opportunities for their success.
